What Does this pelvic Ultrasound Result Mean?

Hi ,I am 22 years old and I recently got my Pelvis ultrasound result done and report says my Right ovarian volume is 8.5cc( a 10mm follicle and 4-5 smaller follicles seen in it) and Left ovarian volume is 5.0 cc and 5-6 follicles of 4-6 mm size are seen in it. No adnexal mass or fluid collection is seen and my Endometrial echoes of Uterus are 5 mm thick ( day 6-7 of M.C.). Could you please tell me what does it say about my health?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the ultrasound report you have furnished.
1. Right ovary is having a follicle of 10mm and 4 to 5 small follicles. It could be considered as dominant follicle, which could progress and rupture during ovulation by 13th day.
2. Left ovary is having 5 to 6 follicles, which are small.
3. No adnexal mass indicates that the surrounding tissues around uterus is normal.
4. No free fluid collection states that there is no evidence of infection and/or ovulation.
5. Endometrial thickness of 5 mm appears to be normal and is indicating 6th or 7th day of your menstrual cycle.
Presently, there are no major abnormal changes indicated in the report and hence could be considered as normal.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
